Mr. William Riley Tuttle, Jr., 59, of Hagerstown, passed away at home on September 26, 2017 after a 13 A½ year battle with cancer. Known to his friends as Junior, he was the husband of Teresa Tuttle, his wife of 42 years. Born in Silver Spring, MD, he was the son of the late William R., Sr. and Charlotte Tuttle. Junior worked for many years at Burning Tree Country Club in Bethesda taking care of the grounds and golf course. He also worked at Hollow Creek Golf Course in Middletown. Junior loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his loving wife, Junior is survived by two children, Ruth Ann Nipper & husband Mike of Hagerstown, and William R. Tuttle & wife Sherry of Boonsboro; a sister, Janet Hill of Dickerson, MD; brother Mark Tuttle & wife Wanda of Brunswick; grandchildren, Brandon Flook, Karissa Flook, Cody Tuttle, and Chloe Tuttle; great-grandchildren, Raven, Sebastian, and Kayson Flook, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon on Friday, September 29th at the Chapel Mausoleum of Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 U.S. Route 15 N in Frederick, where a funeral service will begin at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memory at Resthaven. Floral tributes are welcome.
