I know I speak for all of his nieces and nephews when I say we were all proud to call him "Uncle Bill", to be related to such a fantastic human being. We will miss our beloved uncle. He was such a great guy - never had a negative thing to say about anyone or anything, always smiling, quiet but loving demeanor, and a gentle soul. The father of five of my favorite people who he truly cherished and helped shape into the great adults you are today. Bill, Susan, Cathy, Mary Ann and JoAnn, our hearts go out to all of you. Mrs. Pechnik, JoAnn, Marianne, Bill, Susan, Cathy. Your dad was a great man! In an era where much change took place in our culture and environment and drove most people to act differently - Bill was always steady doing what he knew was right, first serving our country, then serving our government and always providing for his family. I remember when I told him I had taken a job with NAVAIR (in 1985) he was more excited than I was about my new opportunity at his place of work. Lots of good memories.
