Todd Stephen Sauter, 74, was born on July 21st, 1951 in Eugene, Oregon and passed away in the morning of April 30th, 2026 in Frederick, Maryland. Todd is survived by both of his children, Jackie (Sauter) Zajac and Victoria Sauter Read Obituary
How could I forget Dan. He was also a good friend.
Todd and I became friends at Eastern Junior High School, before man walked on two legs. During High School, and college we worked at community swimming pools in the Silver Spring area. We did not work the same pools as Todd's Dad was a trustee at Franklin Knolls where I worked. I have fond memories of Todd's Mom and Dad, Peter, Joel and Nora. Todd was a favorite of my Mom and Dad. After graduating college, we got an apartment together, until I got married and he gracefully allowed us to stay at the apartment Todd was married not long after and we remained close. Life happens and we grew apart. I now live in Harrisburg PA but get back to the Silver Spring area regularly as my son lives in Rockville. When Todd and I were close friends, it was one of the best times of my life. Rest in peace my friend.
Todd was such a ray of light in our community. He would do anything for anyone that needed help. The last few months he became my volunteer dog walker and would take my puppy Bohdi out for long walks throughout the day and show him to anyone that would look. We will miss him dearly.
