To the Chapman Family
I was extremely sad to hear about Tom passing away. He was a good friend and co-worker who was always willing to help. We tried to support each other through our cancer journey. I will always remember him checking on me when he was going through so much. I know he never complained or wanted to give up. I hope he is at peace now and in no more pain. Please accept my condolences and I hope to meet all of you to celebrate his life. Tom will be missed at APL. Hugs MJ
Chapman Family,
Tom Chapman was a important hardworking figure with the JHU/APL SECD family and his contributions will be missed. He shared his facebook pages with me and showed me when he caught the Marlin, what a beautiful big fish and how proud he was so much so that he got a tattoo! He also shared pictures of his King Charles Cavalier puppy! He was a nice person.
Sending prayers to you and your family at this time. May God continue to cover you and Bless you and your family.

On behalf of the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab (JHU-APL) Senior Leadership team, the JHU-APL security team and the entire JHU-APL family I want to extend our deepest condolences to Tom's lovely wife, Suzy Chapman and his entire family.
I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your wonderful husband and our dear colleague. He was very much loved at APL and by our team. Tom was a true champion of National Security, and he will be sorely missed. He was a dedicated APL security leader for almost 15 years and served in the US Navy as a Commissioned Officer for more than 23 years. I want to express my gratitude and thank him for all of his many contributions to APL and our Nation for a very celebrated career! You are all in our thoughts and prayers!
Rest in Peach my friend! - Leonard Moss, Jr., JHUAPL Chief Security Officer
