Sending deepest condolences to Uncle Ashok, Preeya and Omar and the extended family from Mr and Mrs R.K Anand and family. We were all so saddened to hear the news that Aunty Simi had passed away. When she married into the Kapur family she instantly became a dear friend and sister to my parents and a loving Aunt to myself and my sisters Rushmi and Mumta.
She had a caring heart that made you feel welcome and loved. She had a beautiful smile and infectious laughter that would make you forget your worries and brighten up your day. One of my earliest personal memories was of an oil painting that she had done which hung in Nanniji's house in Coleraine. I was in awe of her artisitic talent!
One year my parents, Aunty Simi and Uncle Ashok organised for me to stay in their home in Frederick during the summer. This was all organised in secret as a surprise for doing my exams. It was a trip of a lifetime for me as I loved everything about USA. Aunty Simi welcomed me into her home and her family and looked after me as if I was her daughter. I have so many happy, special memories from my time with her and the family and everything that was organised to make my trip special.
Aunty Simi was a beautiful, kind, caring and loving person that touched the hearts of so many people. She always looked out for other people and put the needs of her family and friends before herself. She will be greatly missed by so many. Our thoughts and prayers are with her beautiful family at this sad time. Lots of love and hugs from across the water.
