Childhood Summers, Dad would take me along on day trips - boating, fishing, motocross races, shopping trips and visits with Grandma and Grandpa. Vacations in Ocean City and Dinners, lots of fun meals at home and out. Watching comedy television - Johnny Carson, Get Smart, All in the Family. One night, Tom and Dad sat at the table for hours picking crab legs - I just didn't have the patience, but I remember them having a nice bonding experience. Dad would work on cars a lot on the weekends, and he taught me how to do a tune-up and change my oil. He was always so helpful with maintaining my vehicle so that I was safe. He loved it when I would make his brown-bag lunches and put a cute note inside to brighten his day.
