Neal Victor Van Scoy's Obituary
Neal Victor Van Scoy, of Brunswick, Maryland, passed away on March 13, 2025, after a sudden and devastating battle with cancer. Born in Cumberland, Maryland, Neal was a devoted husband to Taire Anne Van Scoy and a proud father to Kyle Nestorius Van Scoy.
A dedicated cybersecurity professional, Neal was also a passionate scholar of Ancient Roman and Greek history, fluent in Latin and archaic Greek. He was deeply respected for his integrity, intellect, and unwavering principles, and his presence will be profoundly missed.
A private graveside service will be held for family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Neal’s memory to St. Joseph’s Indian School in Chamberlain, South Dakota, where he spent part of his childhood.
