My brother and I were inseparable when we were young children. We played Barbie/GI Joe, electric trains, created a Sunday newspaper for my parents, did coin collecting, and spent time in Coney Island (he almost drowned me once). When we were older and moved upstate in NY we still hung out a lot. We would sled down our little hill in the winter and play outside in the summer. As we got older we would watch soul train on Saturdays and even made up a dance routine that we did at a high school dance. (I know, we were geeky). As adults we didn’t see each other as much but when we did it was always a great time. We lived in different states and traveled for holidays to see each other. We all will miss his quick wit and kind and generous heart. I am grateful to God that his suffering is over and that he is at peace.
