To the Family of Deaconess Margaret Holland, may you have comfort in knowing Sister Holland, is Resting in the arms of Jesus, she was one of my favorites during my stay in Maryland always loved visiting and talking with her. I remember the times I was able to pick her up for our outings, she will be missed. My prayers to the family, may God carry you till you meet again in Heaven.
Miss Margaret's participation in the AARCH Society Living Treasures initiative was an honor and a blessing for those of us who are committed to preserving, sharing and teaching local African American history. Her faith, her wisdom and her longevity will be forever cherished.
