Peggy Hart
Lorraine was a long time friend from our years in West Riding where we belonged to the same "Ladies Bridge" group. We spent far more time in chatter and gossip than in playing any kind of serious bridge. Our years together were full of friendship, happiness and laughter as we made our way through marriage, motherhood, and births, and eventually illnesses and deaths. Just last year a few of us reunited with Lorraine at her 90th birthday celebration. Once again, we found ourselves full of laughter and the promise of the next time we would get together. Unfortuantely, that time did not materialize and some of those who were at that celebration are also now gone.
It is with a heavy heart that I share my deepest sympathy to Kay and Lorraine's grandchildren. My prayers and thoughts are with you all as you say good bye to her and celebrate her life.
