Lori Trevorrow Welsh's Obituary
Lori Trevorrow Welsh of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, September 19, 2025 in Frederick, MD surrounded by family at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born on September 5, 1960, she was the daughter of Dean and Barbara (Coleman) Trevorrow.
Lori grew up in Rockville, MD and moved to Frederick in 1978. She married Terry Welsh in 1980, and they celebrated 45 years of marriage with a cruise to the Mediterranean. Lori and Terry had two children and lived in the Frederick area. Lori was an active member of Araby United Methodist Church being the choir leader, youth leader and treasurer. Lori also attended Buckeystown UMC and loved singing in the choir, as well as https://Mt.Carmel UMC in Frederick. Lori held many jobs over the years, from selling vacuum cleaners to IBM, and retired from the Department of Defense in 2024.
Lori was a devoted sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed life to its fullest, was full of joy, and was always fun to be around. She will be fondly remembered by her children: Devon Welsh (Kim) of Frederick, MD; and Shawna Welsh of Frederick MD; grandchildren: Adelynn Welsh; brothers Brian Trevorrow (Caroline) and Steven Trevorrow, along with her nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Lori was preceded in death by her father, Dean Trevorrow.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway in Frederick, MD. A celebration of Lori's life journey will take place at 10 am on Saturday, October 4 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Pastor Sharon Gibson will officiate. Refreshments to follow at Araby Church.
