I will miss my "Dude"! Girl, I love you and hope you are now happy and in peace.
When I heard of Kims passing it was as if I had been sucker punched. I had no idea that she had been battling lung cancer. We hadn't been in touch for a long long time. We were busy living our own separate lives.
I considered Kim a very good friend and we had a lot of fun back in the day.
Kim was kind of a hero to me . Kim was a friend to me when I thought I had no friends.
She allowed me to shower in her basement when i had no heat or hot water at home.
I don't know if Kim knew it but I really loved her.
As a young gay man. I felt very alone and only told a few people that I was gay. Kim didn't care, she was smart enough to know that I was born that way.
But, it still didn't stop her from trying to take my virginity. She tried, but I just couldn't. Lol.
The last few times I did see Kim she was always the same giving me a hug and a kiss making me feel loved. Kim and her family always, always made me feel welcome in there homes and vacation homes. Through Kim I was able to learn and appreciate antique furniture. I am still very interested in antiques to this day.
To Loretta and Larry, I am truly sorry for your loss of Kimberly.
