My beloved Aunt Hazel was a teenager when I was born. She was only 15 years older than me, and was more like a big sister. I have many happy memories of trips to the Baltimore Zoo and Patterson Park. When Hazel worked at Springfield Hospital, she had her own office cubby in the dental office. I often stopped by in the early morning and we would have tea. Even when I lived in Colorado, and later Connecticut, we always kept in touch. Forever in my heart I can still hear her soft voice saying, Don’t go yet, when it would be time to end the conversations. I loved my sweet Aunt Hazel ♥️
Love and condolences to all, Laura Jane Elswick Nelson
