Personal Paragraphs (1 to 2 paragraphs)
Gina grew up mostly in Kissimmee, FL but moved to Alaska for a few years with her family.  After attending Pensacola Christian College, she he moved back to married and moved to England where she worked as an accountant for Ryder Trucking.  She moved back to FLA to raise her family and then moved to Gaithersburg, MD.  Boonsboro, MD was where her kids finished high school.  Whether professionally or as a hobby, Gina was an excellent photographer and had worked for the Herald Mail covering high school sports and later worked for Sturbridge Studios taking school photographs until schools were shut down.  Gina loved kids.  Gina also loved taking care of elders as she did at her last job and driver and activities assistant at the Jane Bowman Adult Daycare Center at Fahrney-Keedy.  She had always been an activities director outside of work finding parks with waterfalls and other natural sights that no one knew existed.  She loved being outside.
Gina loved everyone in her family and maintained those relationships by posting photographs and traveling to see them whenever she could.  Gina was always up for going out to dinner and loved live music and roadtrips that always ended in good food.  She travelled around the globe and in addition to regular trips to TN to see family, she had taken recent trips with Glen to CA, CO, NM, NC, NE, OK, LA, ME, and FL where they married on the beach in Sept. 2023.  It was right after a first anniversary trip to Rehobeth Beach that she was diagnosed with the cancer that she eventually succumbed to.  Gina could be recognized by her smile and her bare-shoulder “Gina” shirts, but especially by her heart.  She is missed terribly by all who knew and loved her and we could not ask for a better angel keeping watch over us.
The visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 4:30 pm until 7:30 PM in the Catoctin Chapel at Resthaven.  The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Restoration Church, 7899 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702-3128 with private family burial at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
