Gina was one of a kind. Pure of heart ❤️ and saw the good and light in everything and I mean everything. We met about 14 years ago when our middle school kiddos were boyfriend & girlfriend. She included my son in everything…they were always on the go…not sit around the house people. Always looking for fun adventures for the kids. She was so good at capturing all those moments on camera. I could learn a thing or two from that. Naturally as most middle school romances go, the kids went their separate ways but Gina and I remained very good friends. We had so much fun together and laughed ALOT. We saw each other through some good times and some difficult ones as well. Gina used to tell me she admired me for being independent but I realty, she’s the brave one. She wasn’t afraid to love , take chances and just live out loud. She loved her family above all things and was so brave in the fight she fought against this horrible disease and even embraced the wigs. She is the one to be admired and will always be my hero. I loved Gina beyond measure, friends like her don’t come along every day… I just hope she knew how very special she will always be to me. She’s gone way too soon but I know she will be the best guardian angel anyone could ask for. Rest in peace my beautiful friend.
