I visited during one of the Myrtle Beach reunions when I was about 20 years old. I remember sitting with Aunt Dottie while she was having breakfast. It was just the two of us and she explained her morning routine. She was eating grapes and told me about how she would peel the skin off the grapes for her kids when they were young. I thought, wow, that must take a long time. That is the type of mom she always seemed to be. One that would take the time. God Bless Aunt Dottie. May she forever rest in peace.
