To Dean's entire family: Barbara, Lori, Brian and Steve. Our prayers and blessing to you all at this time of sorrow. Dean was a such a kind and generous person. Whenever we visited his home, Dean would have been found doing some type of wood project in his shop behind the house. He was a master when making furniture and I'm lucky to have a hope chest he made for me out of wood taken off our family farm in WV. This is a treasured piece of furniture and his name stamped on the inside. Many people have noticed this piece in our living room. I have so many fond memories as a child when we went camping at Kerr lake and Dean was always joining in on the fun at whether it was swimming (10 of us trying to get on inner tube) or just playing horse shoes. He was always doing odd jobs at Araby church and was just a friendly soul. He will be greatly missed by the community and our family. Prayers for you all - Love Kelly and Mike Sine.
I'll always remember Dean from my old church family. He let me hunt on his property near Taneytown(?) and he was there for me to help when my own father passed away. Toni and I also recall the story he told us about his birthday as a child, and how his mother always made sure it was celebrated in the morning prior to starting Christmas; much to the chagrin of his siblings!
