D’Arcy was my eldest brother. I was the number fourth child of five that our parents brought into the world. D’Arcy was senior to me by almost eight years. He was our “big brother” and was “the Boss” when our parents were out of the house. We were generally well behaved kids. But when we weren't; “Big Brother” was held accountable for it. To this day, I feel that was a “no-win” situation for my brother. But, he soldier’d on regardless trying to keep all of from harms-way when we were just kids. Much later in life, I had the opportunity to spend time with my “Big Brother” as we went to an occasional Washington Nationals Baseball Game and meet in Washington DC Restaurants to celebrate his or my Birthdays; as they were one month apart. It is an absolute joy for me is to see how wonderful his five children have grown up into such wonderful people with their own spouses and children. I know that this gave D’Arcy great joy as he told me so the last time that I talked with him on the phone before his passing into heaven. I know we will continue that Thanksgiving conversation one day. I am saddened that he is gone from this life. However, I thank Christ Jesus that D’Arcy is with our youngest sister Kitty and our parents in the next and eternal life. God is good! Tim
