Clay H. “Barney” Barndollar III, 83, of Thurmont, MD, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, in his home after a brief illness. He was born on September 10, 1942, in Windber, PA, to the late Clay H. and Mary Lou Barndollar. Read Obituary
I have fond memories of working with “Barney” at Giant Food on the Night Crew in the Frederick, Md store. He was an extremely hard working person who was a lot of fun to work with. Barney and I were both big Redskins fans. We enjoyed talking about the team and the outcome of the games. May you rest in peace with the Lord Clay.

So sorry to hear of Barney’s passing. I have great memories of “ Giant “ days or I should say nights .I worked pharmacy but did nights a few years doing stock of HBA and GM … he and others would tell me .. “working nights will age you 15 yrs!” I think he and I connected cause at the time I had a 56’ Chevy.. we’d talk about cars and family. Lorraine, cherish the memories…
