I miss my dad.
Dad memories!
Mr. Johnson was simply a wonderful man. I first knew him when I was his pastor at Silver Hill United Methodist Church. He was always open, friendly, and welcoming. When I left we shared a beer on his front porch. Years later, in my other life, I helped him with plumbing problems. He was the same friendly, outgoing person I had known before. I'm very sorry to read of his passing. I'm sad we won't be able to share another beer.

Gordon, you and your Family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Charlie and I go way back through sports and umpiring. Charlie worked for me many years umpiring for Central Maryland Umpire Association. I can remember him umpiring my games when I coached many years in Babe Ruth and High School. Not only was he a good umpire, he was a great man. I was privileged to call games with him, but more importantly I was honored to call him my friend. Love ya amd miss you partner.

Charlie was one of the nicest people to work with. Although he was W3 and I was at W1, I always enjoyed our meetings together. He will be missed by all of his family including AT&T family
We offer our heartfelt sympathies to the family of Charlie Johnson. He was a proud and loving father and husband, and a dear friend to all who knew him. He was known to us for his outgoing and warm personality, and his genuine interest in our lives. Charlie was the first to welcome us to the neighborhood over 30 years ago. We remember him for his interests in sports, jazz, and local happenings. Before neighborhood blogs, he always knew what was happening in Pleasant Vista Estates! We consider ourselves to have been lucky to have him as a friend. Rest in peace Charlie.
