Beverly Curry Winther's Obituary
Beverly (Curry) Winther, beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother, 88, of Frederick MD, passed away, on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Spring Arbor Living in Frederick, MD. Born on January 11, 1938, in Teaneck, NJ, she was the daughter of Harold Curry and Kathleen (Bird) Curry.
Beverly was a dedicated mother and homemaker, besides spending time with her family and friends, she also enjoyed decorating her homes, creating her own artwork, flower arrangements, gardening, reading, knitting, quilting and sewing, she loved, loved, loved to sew!!! She touched so many lives in her life and will be dearly missed.
Beverly is survived by her sister Nancy (Curry) Strosnider and children, Leigh Shook (Pam), David Shook (Jackie), Kathy (Shook) Double (Mike), Michelle (Shook) Mangum (Mike), Carolyn (Winther) Hannon (Sean), Scott Winther, 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Martin Shook (husband), Jim Winther (husband) and daughter Susan (Winther) Johnson.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 20, at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy, Frederick, MD 21701, where a Visitation and Service will be held at 10:30 - 12:30 in the chapel of the funeral home.
