Don Lassell
Arne and I worked together at TRW. He and I talked about Christopher Columbus' routes. I told him about my parchment (fake) Christopher Columbus "My Secrete Log Boke" that my father purchased at a Massachusetts town Fair in 1930 for $9 when he was 9 years old. I recently purchased a scanner and have finally scanned that book, being unable to open it flat for conventional scanning all these years. I have thought of Arne every time I got it out to show to people and of course, thought of him today with my scan achievement. He gave me a copy of his route analysis which I have always kept in my special box of "Interesting papers" since I was so impressed with it. I so enjoyed talking with him and sharing this CC interest and working with him at TRW. I see that it has been 8 years since he passed away but am leaving this special remembrance to let you know that he is not forgotten and was much admired when he was with us. I left TRW in 1990 when he retired. Don Lassell Arlington, VA
