Mr. William J. Valois Jr. (Billy)'s Obituary
On Friday, December 8, 2023, Billy passed away from this life, peacefully surrounded by his family.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, January 19,1954 to the late William J. Valois Sr. and Joan M. Roy Valois.
The Valois family moved to Silver Spring MD where Billy and his siblings attended St. Bernadette’s School and Church.
Billy was a proud graduate from St. John’s College High School, Washington, DC, in 1972, and attended Mt. Saint Mary’s and University of MD. College Park.
In June 1974, he married former first wife Susan DeBruhl Valois, and together they had five children, Alison D. Mecler (Jason Mecler) Keedysville, MD. , Wiliam D. Valois (Mounia B. Valois) Cumberland, MD. Andrew D. Valois (Coral K. Cruey) Middletown, MD. Caroline D. Valois Chinigo (Davide Chinigo) Bogliasco, Italy, and James D. Valois (Kathryn C Alquist.), Frederick, MD. and eight Grandchildren, Josephine, Clara, Sophia, William, Violet, Magnolia, Henry, and James. He was a life-long Son in law of Norman and JoAnn DeBruhl.
Billy was the brother of Debra Valois O’Brien, Thomas P. Valois (Janice), Lois A. Valois, John R. Valois (Jill), and the late Stephen E. Valois.
Billy was married to former second wife, and devoted friend, Pamela Phillips Valois, who faithfully and lovingly cared for him during his last years.
