William Fulmer's Obituary
William “Bill” L. Fulmer, 87, of Braddock Heights, Maryland, passed away on December 8, 2025.
Born to Harry and Caroletta Fulmer, Bill lived a life shaped by service, responsibility, and devotion. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Pauline Fulmer of Frederick, Maryland; and his sister, Joann Fulmer Sensenig of Walkersville, Maryland.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra H. Fulmer; his daughter, Kathy Fulmer of Florida; and his son, Brian Fulmer, and daughter-in-law, Rebecca, of California. He was the proud grandfather of Will and Evelyn Fulmer. He is also survived by his sister, Charlene Keyser, and her husband, Phil, of Falling Waters, West Virginia; his brother-in-law, Donald Sensenig of Walkersville, Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.
Bill proudly served in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1962, including service aboard the USS Midway. His time in the Navy was an important and formative chapter of his life and remained a point of pride for him and his family.
Following his military service, Bill dedicated nearly three decades of service to the United States Postal Service, retiring in 2000. Known for his reliability and strong work ethic, he took his responsibilities seriously and valued the purpose his work provided.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the service. A reception will be held at the funeral home following the interment.
