Mr. William Kotouch Albright's Obituary
Mr. William K. Albright, 91 of Ocean City, Maryland, passed away on June 24, 2023, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Maryland. He was the loving husband of Bernice T. Albright, his wife of 42 years.
Born October 24, 1931, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, William was the son of the late Milburn Edward Albright and Jennie Bertha Kotouch.
William, or Bill as he was fondly called, earned his bachelor’s degree from Southeastern University in Washington, D.C. and went on to work for B.F. Saul Company in Chevy Chase MD for over 40 years. During these years, he acquired his brokerage license as well as many other certificates to help him ultimately obtain his title of Vice President and Treasurer, of which he retired from in 2001.
Bill attended and belonged to the Takoma Park Seventh-day Adventist Church for over half a century, where he was an active member sitting on various boards and committees and held positions as Elder and the Chair of the Finance Committee for over 20 years. He was often seen upfront leading out song service or calling for the offering. When he and his wife moved to Frederick, and subsequently changed their memberships to the Frederick Seventh-day Adventist Church, Bill persisted in seeking similar roles. His devotion to the Lord remained unwavering—a perpetual servant.
In his youth, Bill reveled in playing a multitude of sports, but as time marched on, he found solace in spectating. Whether engrossed in a baseball game or merely glancing at scores on his phone, he indulged his love for sports. Bill, paying homage to his homeland, remained an unwavering devotee of the Pittsburgh Steelers, attending countless games and hosting legendary Super Bowl parties.
In addition to his loving wife, Bernie, William leaves behind his 4 children; Pamela Rhodes, Melody Rae, Warner McClure, Caroline McClure; 5 grandchildren; Brandon (Keshia Mayberry) Dittmar, Jason T. (Sarah) Rhodes, Gabriel (Jennifer) Albright, Brittnee (Eduardo) Quintanar, Jenny Tiffany (Charlie Reagan) Rhodes; and 14 great-grandchildren; Ava, Maika & Eva Dittmar; Noah, Annabelle & Caleb Rhodes; Kailyn, Elijah, Judah, Nehemiah, Eliyanah, & Ezra Albright, Oliver & Cedar Quintanar. William was also preceded in death by his grandson, Jeremy Rhodes.
