Virginia Burke Maloney, 88, of Woodsboro passed away on Monday, January 25th. She was the loving wife of the late Edward Joseph Maloney. Born February 13, 1927 in Decatur, Illinois to the late Kenneth and Della Mae McPhail. Virginia was very talented with her hands as she love knitting, quilting, and crocheting. She also enjoyed ceramics and reading in her spare time. Along with her late husband they loved traveling the world via air or sea. They enjoyed dancing, both ballroom and square dancing, together as well as playing cards against many friends. She is survived by her daughter; Linda Richards and husband Bob. Grandchildren; Tammy M. Lee and husband Mike, Michelle R. Shoemaker and husband Patrick, James E. Richards, David L. Richards and fiancAC. Saule Kolyanova, and Ryan K. Richards and wife Angie. Great-grandchildren; Amanda and fiancAC. Robert, Tyler and wife Annie, Shelby, Spencer, Katie, Mallory, Maggie and Kayla. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by Brother; Eugene Gribbons and Sister; Eunice Belton. Funeral arrangements are private.
