Thomas E. Hope's Obituary
Thomas E. Hope, 69, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 15, at his home. Tom was born in Frederick, MD, to Robert and Ruth Hope and graduated in 1975 from Brunswick High School.
Tom was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and followed that service with a long career in construction management. He spent lots of his free time hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Tom is survived by his wife, June Hope; his daughters, Angela Johnson and Crystal Hope; his grandchildren, Tatiana, Prett, Natalia, Myleigh, Laticia, Phoenix, and Zoie; his brothers: Robert Hope and his wife Eleanor, Carroll Hope and his wife Joy, Stanley Hope and his wife, Joyce; his sister, Mary Kelly and her husband Kevin; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends from work and hunting/fishing trips.
A memorial service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy, Frederick, MD 21701, on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 3:00 pm. Inurnment will take place on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 2:00 pm, also at Resthaven.
