Susan Elaine Millione's Obituary
Susan Elaine Millione, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 1, 2026, after courageously fighting cancer for over three years.
Born on August 2, 1956, in New York, Susan was the cherished daughter of Gladys and Harold Lupton, who preceded her in death. She spent the first 34 years of her life in New York before relocating to Maryland due to her husband’s career.

She was a devoted mother to her two children, Mike Millione (and his spouse Angelena) and Jen Mitchell (and her spouse Matt). Susan was a proud and loving grandmother to Hunter, Christiana, Brayden, and Vinnie, who brought her immense joy, especially as she cheered them on at their sporting events.
Susan is also survived by her dear sister, Dale Failla (husband Paul), as well as many nieces and nephews who will remember her warmth and kindness.
Known as a friend to everyone she met, Susan dedicated 33 years to volunteering and working within the school system, touching countless lives before retiring due to her illness. Her generous spirit and caring nature made a lasting impact on her community.
In her free time, Susan found joy in needlepoint, watching Hallmark movies, decorating for the holidays, and spending treasured moments with her grandchildren.
