Susan Irene Chapman's Obituary
Susan Irene Chapman, age 71, passed away in Frederick, MD on Monday, December 19, 2022.
Born May 31, 1951, in Frederick, MD, Daughter of Roland and Nellie Few. She lived in Frederick, MD and graduated from Linganore High School in 1969. After studying medicine, she then gained employment at Frederick Memorial Hospital as a pathologist, retiring in 2016. Susan was a believer of God. She had many artistic hobbies and loved to crochet in her spare time.
Susan is survived by her partner, Kevin Anders, son, Aaron Chapman, and his wife Luci Chapman, two grandchildren, Clarence Thompson Jr., and Jennifer Thompson, sisters, Kay Few, Jo Ann Kaetzel, Penny Southard, Donna McDonnell, brother, David Few, and many aunts/uncles, nieces/nephews, and cousins. Susan was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Thompson, and sister Amelia Ann Few.
Services will be held at 12:00pm, January 3, 2023, at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy, Frederick, MD 21701.
