Obituary
Steven Wayne Federline "Feddy" of Lewistown, Maryland passed away at the age of 63 in Frederick Health Hospital on Saturday, October 22, 2022, following a long struggle against Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (C.O.P.D.).
Steven was born on May 9, 1959, in Frederick, Maryland to the late M. Ruth and the late Melvin Federline, Sr. spending all his formative years in Frederick County playing little league baseball, Frederick County slow-pitch softball, ice skating and ice hockey, fishing, hunting, shooting pool and an avid NASCAR, New York Yankees and San Francisco 49’s fan on weekends. After graduating from Gov. Thomas Johnson High School, he and his late brother Melvin, Jr. founded Federline Masonry Contractors. He worked as a mason contractor in the Frederick area until his failing health prevented him from daily activities. Steven fell in love with Robin Hough, married for a time, but their marriage ended amicably. He enjoyed attending the Lewistown Social Club and the Mountaindale Gang get-togethers.
He is survived by his sisters Deborah Spielman and her husband Carroll (Lee) of Woodsboro, MD. As well as Sharon Eaton and her husband Dennis of Lewistown, MD. He has also surviving several nieces, cousins and his maternal aunt Alice Morton as well as a host of life-long friends who will greatly miss him: Tom White, Doug and Rick Sweeney and Carroll Powell. He will be greatly missed by his feline furry companions, Frisco and Fluff.
Steven is predeceased by his parents, brother and nieces, Megan and Amy Eaton.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial donations in Steven’s name to the ASPCA or a charity of your choice.
Friends and relatives are invited to visit on Tuesday, November 1 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Resthaven Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 9501-B Catoctin Mountain Hwy. (Rte. 15 North) Frederick, Maryland 21701 where a funeral service will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment immediately following at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
