It is great with love and sorrow, we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of God, who departed this life on June 5, 2026, after a prolonged illness.
Stephanie Dionne was born on January 22, 1971, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Millicent Lynette Harris and George Alan Kilcrest, Sr. She was raised in Philadelphia alongside her younger brother, George Alan Kilcrest, Jr., and was a proud graduate of John Bartram High School.
She was a gifted and creative writer, expressing herself through a wide range of work including books, plays, and manuscripts. Her generous spirit touched everyone she encountered, and her kindness will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. She also had a beautiful voice and found joy in singing, especially alongside her cousins.
Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She served dutifully in various ministries over the years, demonstrating a deep commitment to her beliefs and to uplifting others.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving father, George Kilcrest (Sharon); her husband, Vincent Johnson; her children, Russell, Taniesha, Rahshon, and Christian; and her treasured grandson, DeSean.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Millicent, and her brother, George.
Her legacy of love, faith, creativity, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
