Stanley C. Damren, 73, of Frederick, MD died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family after a long illness. Stanley was born July, 27, 1943 in Washington, DC to the late Samuel and Frances Damren. He was the beloved husband of Carol Damren. Stan retired from the US Navy after 23 years of service; he was employed as an electronic technician for Vitro Corp. He was a volunteer at Summit Point Motorsports Park and SCCA. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Heather and Holly, brother Randy, grandson to be James Ryker, and many additional relatives. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Tuesday, August 30 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 2 pm. Interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
