Mrs. Shirley Ann Barger, 85, of Frederick died Monday, January 5, 2015 at Sunrise Assisted Living. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Barger, who predeceased her in November of 1988. Born September 3, 1929 in Hyattsville, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Dorothy Marlowe Moore. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed.Shirley is survived by her daughter, Sandra Filsinger of Frederick; her son, Charles W. Barger II and wife, Lisa, of Potomac Falls, VA; three grandchildren, Matthew Barger (Meredith), Paige Barger, and Mackenzie Barger; and two great-grandchildren, Katherine and Madeline Barger. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, George "Buddy" Filsinger, Jr.The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where services will begin at 3 p.m. Rev. Tim May will officiate. Entombment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, P.O.
