Obituary
Sandra Dennie, 58, of Frederick, loving daughter of the late William Wallace and Joan Marie Dennie, passed away on September 14, 2015. Born into a Navy family in California, Sandra traveled across the United States as a young child. After her family settled in Frederick, she provided care to her aging parents and most recently worked in the office of Dr. Phillip McGann. She will be remembered for her love of dogs and photography of nature that she captured while on many hikes. She will also be fondly remember by the many friends across the United States and here in the Frederick community who so loved her cheery smile and beautiful wit. She is survived by her good friend and sister-in-law, Kim Dennie. Brothers; Scott Dennie and William Wallace Dennie, Jr. Nephews; Christopher Dennie and wife Heather, Wayne Dennie and wife Jennie, and Joshua Dennie. Niece; Charity Stever. And numerous great-nieces and nephews. A memorial service celebrating Sandra's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Frederick County Humane Society (http://www.fchs.org) or ASPCA (https://www.aspca.org).
