Rose Mary LoSchiavo's Obituary
On January 16, 2025, Rose Mary LoSchiavo left her earthly body to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Born on March 8, 1928, to Rosario and Angelina Fiordimondo, she was one of nine children growing up on a farm in Mullica Hill, NJ.
As a young woman, she helped her parents on the farm and worked at the Owens-Illinois glass factory.
In 1951, she left the farm to marry Celestino LoSchiavo, who preceded her in death on May 8th, 2023. They were happily married for 72 years. In those years together they raised four children, Charles (Teresa), Diane (Jerry), Donald (Andrea), and Mark (Beverly), and were blessed with 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way.
Rose was always light-hearted and eager to make you feel comfortable and at home, though she stuck to her convictions, she still showed love and acceptance to others.
She was a resident at the Sunrise Senior Facility in Frederick, MD, for almost three years where she was lovingly taken care by the staff for dementia.
The love she has given, her smile, her laugh and caring heart that has blessed those who have known her as mom, grandmom, great-grandmom or by Rose, will be missed deeply.
Please dress warmly and casually. The family wishes for this to be a time to reflect on and share your memories of Rose.
Memorial contributions in honor of Rose LoSchiavo may be made to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Association.
