Ronnie Lee Wages' Obituary
Ronnie Lee Wages, 51, passed away on October 22, 2025 in Frederick, MD. He was born on July 29, 1974, in Frederick, MD, to the late John L. and Sherry A. Wages.
Ronnie was a carpenter by trade, specializing in framing and roofing. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and cards, shooting pool, weightlifting, hunting, watching football, and spending time with his children, friends, and family. He especially cherished attending Mason’s football games. Ronnie was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
He was the loving fiancé of Lauren N. Hart for 18 years. He is also survived by his sons, Ryan L. Wages (Alex), Mason L. Wages, and Elijah J. Crider; brothers, Jeff Wages and Ritchie Kline; many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and other relatives and friends. He will be remembered by his second mother, Earlene Hart; special cousin, Dawn Shugars; best friend, Earl Summers; and special friends, Jesse and Courtney Torreyson and Mike and Jill Bray.
Ronnie was proceeded in death by his father, John Lee Wages; mother, Sherry Ann Wages; brothers, Robert Klipp and Brian Wages; and a special cousin, Vernon “Butchie” Smith.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in the Catoctin Chapel at Resthaven in Frederick, with the memorial service beginning at 5:00 p.m. A reception with light refreshments will follow from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Monocacy Room at Resthaven. Casual attire is encouraged.
