Robert S. Hood Sr.'s Obituary
Robert S. Hood, Sr of Mountaindale, MD died very unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 57 years old.
Bobby was born on August 13, 1967 to Ruth Marie Skinner in Gaithersburg, MD.
He was the owner and operator of Hood's Tree Service located in Frederick, MD. Bobby loved fishing, camping, shooting pool, playing corn hole and taking motorcycle rides. Bobby was passionate about re-building his 1985 Chevy C-10.
He is survived by his wife Lorie Ridgley Hood, his son Robert S Hood, Jr of Smithsburg, MD. stepson Joseph Givens, Jr. (Jessica) of Hampstead, MD and Stephanie Creel (Lark) of Laurel, MD.
He was a loving Pop-pop Bobby to Koda, Bristol, Joseph and Nathaniel. Bobby is also survived by his sister Marsha Ray (David) and many nieces and nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held on June 8, 2025 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Resthaven Funeral Home and Crematory Inc, 9501 Catoctin Mtn Hwy, Frederick, MD 21701, with funeral services to follow at 3:00PM.
