Robert Preston Brooks, 76 of Taneytown MD, was called home Sunday, March 29, 2026. He was the son of the late James and Ruby Brooks. He was born on November 09, 1949.
Robert graduated from Brunswick High School 1968, and then went into the Marines two years. In April 24, 1972 went work at Martin Mariette for 54 years. He loved riding the motorcycles, and cleaning the vehicles, and love listening to music. Also, belong groups Elks, Earth wheel and fire and American Leigon.
His lifetime partner Thelma Williams of Taneytown, his daughter April Johnson and son in law James Johnson of Frederick, stepson Daryl Wedge of Frederick, three sister
Margaret Lee and Bishop Lee of Aberdeen, Peggy Brooks of Frederick, Frances and Harry of Aberdeen. Host of nieces, newphews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his: sister Lucille Gilbert and Ruby Gilbert, Rose
