Raymond Charles Talleur, a dedicated husband, loving father and grandfather, and cherished friend, passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 73. He was born on September 28, 1949, in White Stone, New York, to his late parents, Raymond and Dorothy Talleur. His passing marks the end of a life filled with honor, dedication, and unwavering commitment to his family.
Raymond's path led him to a distinguished military career, where he served his nation with unwavering devotion. He joined the United States Air Force and climbed the ranks, ultimately achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. After retirement from the military, he went on to a career in cyber security.
Raymond's greatest joy and pride stemmed from his roles as a husband, father, and grandfather. He shared a deep and enduring love with his wife, Terry, a partnership that exemplified the bonds of commitment and support. Together, they navigated life's challenges and celebrated its joys, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love.
As a father, Raymond was a pillar of strength and guidance for his children, offering unconditional love, sage advice, and a steadfast presence. His children looked up to him as a role model, learning from his example of hard work, kindness, and the importance of family. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire and shape generations to come.
Raymond Charles Talleur will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and friends whose lives he touched. Though he has left this world, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
A memorial service will be held on August 26, 2023, beginning at 2pm at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Monocacy Mausoleum, Frederick Md.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, in honor of Raymond.
