Ralph S. Strouth Jr's Obituary
Ralph Sherman Strouth, Jr was born on May 30th, 1964, in Maryland. The first son of the late Ralph and Louise Strouth. Affectionately known as "Buck" by his mom or "Moose" or Ralphie" to most of us, he was a gentle soul.
He grew up in Potomac, MD where he graduated from Thomas Wooten High School in 1982. Moose then spent the majority of his career as an employee of Falls Road Golf Course where he had lived since childhood. He was the older brother of Steven Strouth, Sharon Perrigan and Billy Tibbs. Moose loved to go hunting and fishing. He could often be found 4-wheeling, going to the movies or going to play putt-putt with his lifelong friend Jeb McGuire. Moose was quiet and gentle, not much for words. "Tell me about it", "Yeah, I'm alright" were always his replies in his low, southern drawl. Later in his life, he relocated to Colonial Beach, Virginia with his Mom and Dad. There he found work on a horse farm not far from home, he worked at Carry on Trailers until his retirement.
His life was enriched by the love for his nieces and nephews, Christina, Trevor, Marcus, Jordan, Kimberly, Michael, Natalie, and Rebecca and his four great nieces and two great nephews. He will be missed with fond, loving memories by a multitude of family and friends.
