Prentiss Ray Eversole Sr's Obituary
Prentiss Ray Eversole Sr, 82, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026. He was born on April 28, 1943 in Hazard, Kentucky, to the late Roscoe Eversole and Rose Lewis.
Prentiss known as Ray, was the neighborhood dad to so many that grew up in Manassas Park. Everyone knew him as Papa Ray and Mr. Fix it. He loved to fix anything that needed fixing, working on bikes, collecting football and baseball cards, riding bikes with his grandkids and the neighborhood kids. He never met a stranger and always willing to help anyone who needed help.
He is survived by his children Misti Hampton, Prentiss Eversole Jr (Tina), Crystal Eversole, Teresa Mathes (David), 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
