Obituary
Paul Thomas (Tom) Doody, 87, passed away at home on Monday, October 10, 2022.
He was born December 27, 1934, in Frederick, Maryland, to the late Eugene and Mary Mildred Doody.
Tom is survived by his wife, Rita to whom he was married for 34 years.
He worked on his father’s farms for many years and spent 3 years in the Army during the Korean War and 6 years in the Army Reserves.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Brenda Leith; his son, Dwayne Doody; stepsons, Alan Brown, Thomas Brown, and Christoper Weadon; stepdaughter, Amanda Kerlikar; six grandchildren, Tanya, Misty, Jason, Dwayne Jr., Brandon and Emily; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a very special friend, John Ward and caregivers, Melanie, Dorothy and Maricia.
Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Kolb; his brother, Ronnie and wife Carole; and his youngest brother, Nathan and wife Sandy. Tom was the last of his immediate family.
Viewing will be October 14, 2022 from 11 am - 1 pm with a funeral service beginning at 1pm at Resthaven Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Interment will take place at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in the Veterans Section.
