Obituary
Patricia W. Mallory-Morrison passed away peacefully at home on November 20, 2016. Born July 26, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Charles V. and Louise F. Mallory. She leaves to mourn in her memory her husband of 50 years Joseph D. Morrison, daughters; Deidre L. Goofel and husband Lawrence, and Carman Morrison. Granddaughter; Destinee Chaney. And great-granddaughter; Chandler M. Chaney all of Hagerstown, MD. Sisters; Teresa Howard of Sterling, VA., Karen Spriggs and Lynn Mallory of Leesburg, VA., and Nardeka Reid of Ashburn, VA. Brothers; Wilbur Whiting and wife Gwen of Paeonian Springs, VA., and Charles Mallory and wife Lydia of Colorado Springs, CO. She also leaves to mourn sisters-in-law; Artiene Berry and husband Charles of San Antonio, TX, And Pamela Mallory and Elsie Simms of Frederick, MD. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, and remaining aunts; Anna Walker, Almeda Johnson, Frances Ferrell, and Inez Mallory. Pat was a dedicated housekeeper at Homewood for 18 years until illness made it necessary for her to retire. She also worked part time at the Frederick News Post for 7 years. Pat was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt and Friend to everyone and most of all she was a loving Grandmother. She had an infectious laugh and she loved life and lived it to the fullest. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, her brother; Wesley G. Mallory. And in-laws; Maude and Hank Morrison. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 25th at 11 AM at the Historical Chapel at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick.
