I was so shocked and saddened when I saw Patti's in memoriam, in the latest edition of the Shippensburg Alumni magazine. So many great memories of Patti & Ken, in the theatre group at Ship, at the Beitch house in the summers, of Patti's beautiful voice singing at my wedding and of reconnecting with Patti & Ken after years, when our kids went to Messiah and we visited them in Maryland. Her smiling face and infectious laughter were just a small part of her gracious and loving personality. She will be remembered fondly and missed by all who knew her.Phyllis (Garvey) Conroy
I am very, very sorry to hear about Mrs. Goodling - please accept my prayers and condolences Kenneth, Alex, Anne, Ruth, and other family and friends and may Mrs. Goodling rest in heaven!
Some of my favorite memories of Patti are from our 2003 high school performance of Godspell. As assistant director I remember seeing her face in the seats as she'd give notes and encouragement. Her infectious joy, wonderful laugh and smile could light up a room! How radiant she now is in heaven rejoicing, laughing and spending time with her Savior! What a reunion it will be to see her again living life to the fullest! Much love to the whole Goodling crew. Praying for much comfort in loving memories you cherish. This picture of her laughing is so much of the joyful person she was and what stays with me remembering her.
We are so sorry to hear about Patti! We first met her when she took on the kindergarten teacher role at CLS from Mrs. Rabens, which was over 17 years ago. We remember her being a ray of sunshine- smiling, laughing, and full of joy. She was so gifted in music and many other things, but she will most be remembered for her unconditional love and acceptance for others. She was so encouraging and motivating, always having a kind word to say. She loved her Savior deeply and it radiated to all who were near her. She will be missed and we are praying that you would be carried through this time by God’s strength, grace, and love. Much love to you all!
I miss your face. Love you always mama ❤️
