Ms. Patricia Jane Agayoff, 55, of Gaithersburg, passed away on March 15, 2017 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital from complications due to sudden onset pneumonia.Born in Washington, DC, Patricia was the daughter of the late Theodore and Doralee Agayoff. She attended Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Maryland at College Park. She had two jobs: as a project manager with Spectrum International for almost 20 years, and as a business manager at McDonalds for nearly 40 years where she worked at several franchises. She was an avid baker and cook, and she won many prizes at the Montgomery County Fair. She loved attending craft shows and vacationing on the Outer Banks. Patricia was also selfless, and would always put others' needs first.Patricia is survived by two sisters, Carol Agayoff and Elizabeth Canter & husband Richard; and by her fiance Stephen Barnes. She was the fiercely proud aunt of Jeffrey Canter; and will also be remembered by many loving friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her best friend, Carl Jones.A funeral service will begin at 2:30 PM on Sunday, March 19th at the Chapel Mausoleum of Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 U.S. Route 15 N in Frederick. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the funeral service on Sunday; interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Floral tributes are welcome, or in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County, 12 Park Ave., Gaithersburg, MD 20877.
