Obituary
Nannie Catherine Huddleston Woodward passed away peacefully on July 26. Nannie was born in Cumberland, MD on January 1st, 1924 to Seymour and Eula Wright Huddleston. She is predeceased by her husband James Gardner Woodward and two sisters; Lee Huddleston Evans and Charlotte Huddleston Bloomfield and two brothers; David Huddleston and Allen Huddleston. Nannie graduated from Catonsville High School in 1941. She went to work for the B&O Railroad until she was married in 1946. In her later years she returned to the work force and was employed by AARP. She was a devoted wife and mother who took pride and pleasure in her home, her husband of nearly 60 years and raising her children. She loved the distinction of having been the New Year's baby in the year of her birth. She also was a loving grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of eight. Nannie is survived by her four children: James G. Woodward, Jr. of Midvale, UT; Bruce and Sally Woodward of Sykesville, MD, children Jenny and Matt Gillis and Brandon and Christine Woodward; Ann and Larry Kienzle of Sykesville, MD, children Katie and Ray Autry, Corinne and Ryan Ginter, and Jordan and Brian Donovan; and Steven Woodward of Herriman, UT, children Aidan, Suzannah and Kemper. She also was a great-grandmother to Lily, Chloe and Grayson Gillis, Savannah and Charlotte Woodward, Benjamin and Sydney Autry, and William and Molly Ginter. Her family will miss her grace, dignity, kindness and love. There will be a private service and inurnment. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests please make donations to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association .
