Michael Levine
Dear Nancy,
As I sit down to write this on this very significant day, my heart is full of love and gratitude for the incredible friendship we shared. Though you are no longer here in the way I wish you were, I feel your presence in my heart, in my memories, and in the countless ways you touched my life.
You were a truly beautiful woman—inside and out. Your kindness, your unwavering faith, and your deep sense of integrity made you someone I admired from the moment we met. How fortunate I was to call you my best friend.
I treasure the times we spent together—our Friday lunches filled with laughter, thoughtful conversation, and the comfort of knowing we saw the world in much the same way. You were so articulate, so wise, and always so full of grace. Our time together was never just about a meal; it was about connection, understanding, and the joy of sharing life’s moments with someone who truly understood. And how wonderful it was when our husbands, Mike and Gary, joined in our gatherings—those times were always filled with warmth and laughter.
Even after distance separated us, my love for you never faded. True friendship, the kind we shared, is not bound by geography or time. I will always carry the gift of your friendship in my heart, and I will always be grateful for the love, wisdom, and joy you brought into my life.
Though Alzheimer's and Hydrocephalus may have dimmed the light of your earthly presence, they could never touch the essence of who you are—a woman of strength, faith, and incredible beauty. I take comfort in knowing that your spirit is now free, whole, and at peace.
I miss you, my dear friend, and I always will. But I will also forever celebrate the gift of your friendship and the love we shared. Thank you for being such an important part of my life.
With love always,
Jane Levine
