Murlidhar Talreja's Obituary
Murlidhar Talreja, 89, of Potomac, Maryland passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on July 3, 1936, in undivided India, Mulridhar Talreja grew up alongside his younger brother and sister in Mumbai. Even though he studied up until 10th grade, his spiritual wisdom was that of a teacher. He enjoyed learning about accounting, and he was a successful businessman. He married Bahagwati Kalra in 1964.
Mulridhar was a sole parent, teaching and guiding Mahesh to be a loving and caring adult. His main interest was visiting temples. He was able to recite several Hindu prayers and aartis. He got along well with adults and children of any age. Mulridhar was a man of great integrity, and he put others before himself. He worked hard to be self-sufficient and independent.
Mulridhar was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a presence to his family. He is survived by his son, Mahesh, his daughter in-law, Deepa, and his two grandsons, Manav and Dhillan.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home.
