Michael Christopher Schoeman's Obituary
Michael Christopher Schoeman, born August 31, 1971, in Southern California, passed away on May 10, 2025, at his home in Frederick, Maryland. He is survived by his wife Julie, daughter Samantha, and two stepchildren, Trent and Breana.
Michael was adopted by his late parents, Arnold and Diana Schoeman, and raised in a home rooted in religious values and high expectations. After graduating high school, he began his early career at Dreyer’s, where he steadily advanced through roles in accounting, warehouse management, and eventually supply chain management at Nestlé.
Michael married Julie during his time at Dreyer’s, and together they built a loving family of five. In his early 30s, he was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma. Through an incredibly long and difficult battle, fueled by the love and support of his family, he overcame the disease, though he was never fully in remission.
He was a man of faith, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a dependable provider. He loved fishing, had a passion for airplanes, and was a true history buff.
His final wish was to have his ashes scattered in Yosemite, California, surrounded by close family and friends.
We will always remember Mike for his humor, our family game nights, and the deep love he had for his wife. He was endlessly proud of his children and the life he helped build. The lessons he shared will stay with us forever. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
The Celebration of life will be held at Left Coast Brewery, 980 N. Haven Ave, Suite 100, Ontario, CA 91764 on Friday, August 22nd, 2025, at 12:00 PM PST - 3:00 PM PST.
