Mr. Michael Anthony "Tony" Faulkner's Obituary
Mr. Michael “Tony” Faulkner, age 84, of Ohio Twp., formerly of Potomac, MD, passed away on July 19, 2023, surrounded by family.
He was the beloved husband for 64 years of Louise McKenzie Faulkner; father of Brett Joseph Faulkner of Los Angeles, CA and Kelly (Bob) Baker of Sewickley, PA; brother of Danny (Linda) Faulkner of Rockville, MD and the late Alden Faulkner, Janet Leigh Cheniae, and Brent Faulkner; grandfather of Michael R. (Yuki) Countouris of Key West, FL and Maxwell A. Countouris of Neshannock Twp.
Tony proudly served his country in the Marines for 3 years and enjoyed a successful career for 28 years at Price Waterhouse in Washington, D.C. His happiness was found through family, food, friends, and food!
His brother Brent Harris Faulkner, 79, of New Market, passed away on February 19, 2023 at Kline Hospice House.
Born December 23, 1943 in Maryland, Brent was the son of the late Joseph and Elsie Mae Faulkner. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and spent his career with Shenandoah Pride Dairy.
Brent Faulkner is survived by two daughters, Dawn Marie Ehlers & husband Ernie and Michelle Lee Fafard & husband Michael; grandsons Zachary Fafard and Matthew Fafard; brothers Danny Faulkner & wife Linda; sister-in-law, Louise Faulkner; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.
A memorial service for Brent and Tony will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 21st at the Resthaven Funeral Home & Community Center, 9501 B Catoctin Mountain Hwy. in Frederick. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
